On 10 Jul 2015, a joint ceremony to celebrate the Launch of “Shanghai-Hong Kong Gold Connect”, the 105^th Anniversary of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society (CGSE) and the inauguration of the 44^th term of Executive & Supervisory Committees of CGSE was held at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai. Acetop Precious Metals Limited gathered together with guests from political, business, industry and media communities to witness this historical moment.

This event attracted attention of all sectors of the community. Mr. Tsang Chun‐wah, John, Financial Secretary of HKSAR, Ms. Shen Gang, Deputy General Manager of SGE, Ms. Cao Yuanyuan, Director of Financial Market Department of the People’s Bank of China and Mr. Steven Chan, President of CGSE officiated at the launching ceremony.

As one of the representatives of CGSE, Acetop Precious Metals Limited was proud to work together with representatives of SGE to complete a total of 2 tons gold trading with Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd. and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China under “Shanghai‐Hong Kong Gold Connect” programme by “Bid and Ask” method.  It marked the official launch of the “Shanghai-Hong Kong Gold Connect” and achieved the interconnection between Mainland and Hong Kong gold market and ushered in the climax of this event. As leader of the precious metals industry in Hong Kong, Chief Executive Officer and Registered Manager of Acetop said that Acetop is deeply honored to exchange experience with experts in the industry to witness the annual grand ceremony of the precious metals industry. In the future, we will join hands with the CGSE to advance the development of the precious metals industry in Mainland and create a new opportunity for the development of both places.

Subsequently, the 105^th Anniversary of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society (CGSE) and the inauguration of the 44^th term of Executive & Supervisory Committees were held. After the ceremony, the organizer arranged exciting song and dance performances to celebrate the successful conclusion of the event. Large numbers of photos are taken at the scene to record this precious moment.
