On 18 January 2013, the 10th China’s Financial Annual Champion Awards Ceremony (2012), initiated by Hexun.com and jointly organized by China Securities Market Research and Design Center, SEEC Media Group Ltd, among others, was held at the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing. Hundreds of financial leaders, industry experts, and well-known media editors gathered together to celebrate and to witness the birth of the winners.

The China’s Financial Annual Champion Award is one of the most authoritative as well as the most influential annual award of the financial sector. It is also a major annual financial industry event that the mainstream financial media pays close attention to and reports widely. The message, "Through a Decade of Great Changes, We Have Prevailed!" , was used as their theme. The industry is committed to upholding the fine tradition of the past, while at the same time keeping up-to-date on the industry, assessing and projecting accurately the market trends. The 10th champion awards followed the changes made in the year before, using the same format: sub-forums plus a year-end final forum.
