On 6 January 2013, Acetop was invited to attend the Love, Fellowship, Multicultural Carnival & Prize Presentation Ceremony organized by the New Home Association. We were honored to be the sponsor of this carnival as well. Leung Chun-ying, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), and Zhang Xiaoming, director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government, were both honorary patrons of this event. Held at the Tai Hang Tung Estate Playground No.2 in Sham Shui Po, the carnival was attended by nearly 800 guests from different walks of life. The organizer put everyone in a festive mood with plenty of game booths and great shows, of which the theme of cultural coherence was richly reflected.
On this day, Acetop sent teams of volunteers from the company to help. At 2 in the afternoon, the ceremony proceeded with short welcome speeches by the officiating guests. Soon after that the Love, Fellowship, Multicultural Carnival & Prize Presentation Ceremony officially began. The list of the officiating guests included Ms Ann Chiang Lai-wan, JP, member of the Legislative Council; Mr Fong Kai-leung, assistant director of Sham Shui Po District Social Welfare Office; Mr Yang Shangpei, representative of Central Government Liaison Office (Kowloon); Mr Binod Kumar Upadhyay, the consul general of the Consulate General of Nepal; and Mr Charles Andrei Macaspac, vice consul of the Consulate General of the Philippines.
In the spirit of brotherhood, Acetop continues to deliver warmth to people in the small communities. This time, Acetop once again partnered with the CGSE to participate in the "Replace Old with New Bed Quilt” donation campaign. A total of 200 target recipients were registered members of the New Home Association. They would receive a brand new bed quilt upon handing the old ones to us. The old quilts collected would be re-gifted to charity for the needy. The objective of the New Home Association is to assist newly arriving individuals and families to adapt quickly to their new lives in Hong Kong, providing them with a cross-regional one-stop social service and to help them to better integrate as soon as possible into the society, to cope, and to build a new home.
We have also invited Mr Haywood Cheung, President of the CGSE to attend. Despite his busy schedule, he came and gave out the first bed quilt to kick off the campaign. Led by our Registered Director Paul Cheung Chi-pok, the volunteer team began distributing bed quilts to the folks. Seeing the beaming faces of the elderly, the big friends and the little friends, the volunteers themselves were thrilled. At the end of the event, Acetop Precious Metals Limited received a certificate award of appreciation and mementoes from the New Home Association for their committed support and for the help from the volunteers.

The delivery of warmth is an event of great significance, not only does it keep the needy warm in the winter, it also promotes environmental awareness so that social resources can be put to best use. Our campaign has benefited 200 newly arrived families, for this we have to once again thank the CGSE and the New Home Association for their assistance and coordination efforts in sending warmth and blessings to the newly arrived individuals, families, and the needy. From now on, Acetop Precious Metals Limited will continue our commitment to charity and will be additionally committed to giving back to the society.
