Hong Kong Handover 15th Anniversary - 'Gold & Silver Cup' Soccer Tournament was sponsored by Hong Kong's Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society (CGSE) and co-organized by the Hong Kong Miniature Football Association, ended on 14 December 2012. Acetop sent a total of 10 employees to compete for the championship. After two months of fierce competition, our team won the "Gold & Silver Cup" championship.

The purpose for the competition was to promote soccer, while at the same time giving the members an opportunity to know each other better. The championship competition, which ran from October through December 2012, was played every weekend on a hard-surfaced soccer field provided by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department on Hong Kong Island. Acetop Precious Metals Limited was one of the competing teams. After four matches from the preliminary rounds, they entered the quarter-finals as the second team in Group A, with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. Fortunately, in the championship finals, with the strong efforts of the team members, Acetop Precious Metals Limited beat their opponent by 3 to 0, the first team from the Group A that had a draw with us in the preliminary match.

Thanks to the CGSE, Acetop Precious Metals Limited had an opportunity to compete in the soccer tournament and win. We also thank them for this opportunity for socializing, and to all the players for their efforts, particularly our thanks to each and every employee who came in on their own time and without pay to lend their support during the tournament. Without their cheers, chants, and yells, the road to the championship might not have been as smooth. In the future, any activities sponsored by the CGSE will be our activities. We hope that through participations in mutual activities, the exchange of views and ideas among the members will be facilitated at more different levels.
