At Acetop, we believe that serving our communities is integral to running a successful business. Nominated as a member of Caring Company in 2012, Acetop was invited to attend the welcome party of Caring Company,held at the Hotel Nikko Hong Kong on 21 May 2013. Launched by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), Caring Company is a scheme, aimed to build a cohesive society by promoting strategic partnerships among business and social service partners and inspiring corporate social responsibility through caring for the community, employees and the environment.
Mr Bernard Charnwut Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, delivered a speechat the welcome party. Mr Bernard Chan stated that it has been more than 10 years since the launch of the Caring Company Program, which is specifically geared to build strategic partnerships among businesses and non-profit organizations to create a more cohesive society.Mr Mui Wai-keung, Chief Officer of Family and Community, HKCSS, also addressed some family problems in Hong Kong.
At the end of the welcome party, Ms Tang, Excecutive Director of External Affairs, Acetop received the award and took a group photo with Chairman Bernard Chan and Christine Fang, Chief Executive of HKCSS.
