On 11 January 2013 our Registered Director, Paul Cheung Chi-pok, was invited to attend the 2012 Leading China Annual Awards Celebration hosted by China's famous financial portal JRJ.com. The gala comprised a fabulous evening of the Summit Forum on “Innovation and Development in Financial Industry” and the award ceremony for the winners. As a result of a three-month long fair and rigorous selection process, the contributions of Acetop Precious Metals Limited in 2012 was recognized and affirmed by the review committee and the general public. The year 2013 is now off to a good start when we were informed that we were the winner of the "2012 Best Precious Metals Trading Platform Award."

The Summit Forum and celebration, held at the Beijing Prosper Center on 11 January 2013, has a theme: "Innovation and Change." The business leaders from eight different financial industries were invited to the forum to talk about the financial industry and its future development.

China's role on the world stage has become increasingly important, and along with it, the increasing influence of China's financial industry on the international financial markets. However, because of the limitations in China’s financial system and mechanism, China's financial innovations and internationalizations are making slow progress. The purpose of this Forum was to promote healthy development of the industry and to invest in internationalization. In order for the Summit Forum to be perceived as more authoritative and as a good source of reference, the organizer invited a number of authoritative people in the field to attend, such as Ms Zhang Chenghui, director of the Financial Research Institute of the Development Research Center of the State Council and Mr Zhang Jianping, director of the Foreign Economic Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission. The organizer also invited a few people to address the ceremony, e.g., Mr Wang Jun, chief financial officer of the China Finance Online Co., Ltd; Mr Yang Zaiping, full-time vice president of the China Banking Association; and Mr Sun Peicheng, president of the Insurance Institute of China.

The winners of the Leading China Award, which was initiated by the JRJ.com, were selected from eight different categories after three months of online voting. The eight categories are: banks, insurance companies, fund companies, securities companies, trust companies, futures companies, precious metals companies, and foreign exchange companies. The winners include HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, China Life Insurance Company, and others. We at Acetop Precious Metals Limited were elated and inspired to have won the "Best Precious Metals Trading Platform Award." We will continue to develop and implement the best trading platform procedures and services in 2013 to better serve our customers, and pave the road to our customers’ wealth and prosperity.
